Born in conflict, East Coast Ledger arose in 1831 as a foil to the secret societies running rife with wicked plans, and well intentioned secret societies too. In 1840, Proudhon put a name to the indigenous spirit, Libertarian, and East Coast Ledger took up that identity. Today, East Coast Ledger is a “left libertarian” bastion, proud to speak truth to moron. It is a target rich environment. Join us from whichever East Coast you hail from, be it Turtle Island, Japan, Australia, China, Brazil, Tanzania or elsewhere. You are welcome if you come from inland too, and if you look at earth the other way around, well, California and Peru and Chile, France and Namibia are East Coast too.
